Gulf Air unveils Formula One theme aircraft.

Manama, Bahrain 22 March 2008: With just 12 days to go, Gulf Air, the official airline and the title sponsor of 2008 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, has taken the race excitement to the skies-literally.

Gulf Air has dressed up a whole aircraft body with a Formula One theme livery, which was unveiled today by Gulf Air Chief Executive Officer Mr. Björn Näf in the presence of senior government officials, VIPs, business partners and the media in a function held at the Bahrain International Airport.

Well, I have to admit, I like this F1 livery better than the QF, which I did not care for at all.

I agree, this livery is much more elegant than QF's one, even though F1 isn't something I'm interested in.

I've seen the QF 747 F1 scheme, and I thought that was unique in its own way. And I'm guessing this one Gulf Air A330 is just as unique..
