What To Do At DTW For 3 Hours?

I've got a three hour layover in Detroit tomorrow and I'm not really familiar with the airport. Been there before a few times for connecting flights, but never with any time to kill. So any suggestions? Model shops? Areas with a good view of ramp activity? And of course, food?

Go to the Stop Over Store. Located in the main terminal right before security going into the concourse Southwest flies out of. They have models and lots of airline stuff.

Also, if you're flying Northwest, Delta, or Continental, walk through the tunnel to the "B and C" Concourses, which has cool neon lighting effects and such. And, if you're connecting on any other airline, it's probably worth a trip the Northwest terminal because it's pretty impressive.

I hope all of you guys are part of the airlines Frequent Flyer club that you fly on. The miles don't just accrue in the air, they accrue on the ground as well.
