Default Philippine Airlines re-registering their aircrafts (A330's, A340's etc.)
Time to get new models made by Hogan or Skymarks.

The Philippine Airlines (PAL) has initiated re-registering its French-registered aircrafts with RP-registrations, started with A340 reg: F-OHPJ, now flies as RP-C3430.

Following A330/A340 with RP-registrations are seen here.

*OHZN -> *3331
*OHZO -> *3332
*OHZP -> *3333
*OHZQ -> *3335
*OHZR -> *3336
*OHZS -> *3337
*OHZT -> *3340
(was recently seen with the new registration at FEB26-08)

A340
F*OHPJ -> RP-C*3430 (was re-registered in JAN15-08)
*OHPK -> *3431
*OHPL -> *3432
*OHPM -> *3434

Why are their A330s/A340s initially registered in France? Were they leased? Why the change now? Thanks!

Airbus SAS leased the aircrafts to Philippine Airlines, forum-members of PFSG suggested that the lease agreements for these aircrafts are about to end, thus it belongs to PAL now, hence the re-registrations. I'll keep you updated, I placed a thread at the filipino thread, trying to find about the A340+A330's background.
