Default CX Asia's world Livery...

mentioned this a few times, how CX b-hoy (current 744 asia's world livery) is being converted to a 744BCF. From what I've heard, one of the 77W's is going to get a special livery, i've heard its asia's world or spirit of hong kong. i've also heard its going to be the 5th or 6th 77W, B-KPE or B-KPF. I think this is it: B-KPF (photo by matt cawby, skyline photography)

still not sure which one it's going to be, asia's world or SOHK, but from the little bit of it that's painted (next to horizantal stabilizers), it's dark green (could be either), with a medium green stripe (asia's world). anyone have more pictures?

And I surely hope you're right as I'll be looking forward to seeing it!

I guess thats fine, but its not alright, when one just ordered the CX's BHOY and the next thing I hear, was that this particular model is being converted to BCF in real life. .. Oh man...

Speaking of Cathay pacific, Im looking for CX normal corporate livery, does anyone knows where to find those ??? in 1:400 scale..

Doesn't have the same 'wow factor' about it that B-HOY did being a B747 of course... But I'd like to see this new 'flagship' without all the clutter around it... and of course in 1:400 scale!

Because of those ugly/digusting engine mounts, I'd stay away from this model + all 400series 747 w/RB211 engines from Gemini. The Herpa/Hogan ones look 10Xs better.
Also, a side note, whoever attempts to order models from their CXcitement site at this time don't brother trying. Their online shop currently has a problem. Once you submitted all info (including CC#) the page will bounce back and says transmission failed.

Still with CX fleet...just converting to BCF.

CX shopping site has yet taken out the SOHK and SOHK Millennium models, so I doubt they will remove AWC.

I would say that not all models are perfect, every models has their own particular flaws. But suit yourself, I buy what I like, and you buy what you like.
