SFO spotting 8-4-07
what an awesome day spotting today was!
well awesome in terms of seeing two rare special liveries at once at SFO today! wunala dreaming was in town! sadly it was parked at an area where i couldnt really get a clean shot of her so i have no pictures to post. but i was able to see asia's world city come in and land! i have never seen CX come in for a landing before let alone b-hoy, late? no idea. watching it taxi to the CX gate was extremely CXciting hehe.   ok not an airplane photo but its also SF spotting =). flexing my photography arm a bit here. enjoy. pretty much no post processing on this shot minus the crop. imagine that hehe. its been absolutely a great day. I think Cathay bumped SFO up to 2x daily.
That last photo is pretty damn smooth!

great shots!
i exactly know how u felt. I felt the same when i saw my first Lufthansa Soccer Nose here! I only saw pix of it before u know? as i was shooting, i was literally screaming!... i am glad i was able to turn on continuous mode and guided my camera as it landed... China Airlines Dreamliner scheme, i didn't have such luck... all pix were super blurry!!! newbie mistake... haha.   maybe next time!

that dreamliner would complete my picture collection as far as i know it
and if richie says CX bumped up SFO stops 2x then wow, saturdays will be heavenly for me now. haha. guess SF people love HK and HK people love SF |

BR lands in at about 4:10 right? i thought it was 2:00 so i left at about 3 since i had other things to do that day. sorry!
let me know if you guys have a flight you want me to catch and ill prolly do it for you in the future, granted its on a saturday afternoon! |
