Default Will The Boeing 7E7 Be The Most Beautiful Commercial Aircraft Flying?

If the final design remains unchanged or extremely close to the concept renderings that have come out of BCA as of late, do you think the Boeing 7E7 will be the most beautiful commercial aircraft flying?

I think it will! After the 7E7, the 747.

Default Sorry I can't agree.

Sorry I can't say that the 7E7 will be the most beautiful. Personally my favorite is the Boeing 757. I love how this plane looks on approach. With the flaps lowered it looks like a raptor coming in on its prey.

As for the 727, FedEx flys that into MKE all the time, along with Emory. What I keep missing are the UPS DC-8s. I always see a pair of them when I go by the airport but have never seen them land or take off. And I'm in the flight path of the N/S runway. Sigh... The last time I saw a L-1011 was over 10 years ago in PHX, a TWA parked at the gate.

Honestly, the currently shown 7E7 is the ugliest aircraft (concept) I've ever seen. That thing...

...is nothing more than a pain to my eyes.

The more conventional shape of older studies...

was just boring and "nothing new", but at least not ugly.

Another one for the category "modern but(t) ugly aviation top 10" - I'll se who finally wins; the F-22, F-35, some of those fu**ly looking drones or the 7E7.

Just take a look on types like B707/720/727, the Tu-154 or the F-104.
Not to forget the F-4E/F/EJ/G

I better duck'n cover

So true.
If there's no sound and smoke, then it's not an aircraft.

Btw, if you look at this bird, you'll see that it looks soo dirrrrty. The folks over at the JG72 (now FLZ F-4F) to which 38+03 is assigned to are well known for flying the dirtiest aircraft within the Luftwaffe .
Here's how well treated Bavarian Air Force F-4F ICE's look http://www.airliners.net/open.file/353866/L/

Yes, no, maybe so...
The 7E7 concept you have to admit is very innovative, sleek, futuristic although over all weird looking...But remember...This could be Boeing's comeback.

I don't know how you or anyone can think the 7E7 concepts are ugly! They are a tad on the experimental/unconventional in some ways but its swept streamlined futuristic look is one of the sexiest concepts I've seen. Do you really think the 7E7 concept designs are the ugliest ever? I mean surely you've seen the Airbus A380 concepts, you found those more attractive???

I can't think of anything much more offensive to the eyes than that of the A380. That thing is a fat tub of lard and makes me puke. I'm not saying that the 7E7 will be the "sexiest plane" in the skies either, but I think there's a lot more potential with the paint jobs ...

The only thing I do not like on the B7E7 is that shark fin tail!

I agree with Phantom, currently the 7E7 is the ugliest aircraft I have seen to date.

IMO I think it's beautiful. Sleek, and looks almost like a dolphin. It's streamlined compared to the more conventional aircraft, which makes it beautiful.

I do like the 7E7 to that of the A380 but it doesn't compare to a 757 or 707-320.

I have to agree the 7E7 can't compare to a 757. I love the 757 it's one mean looking bird . Luckly in BOS we still have FedEx, DHL, and Champion Air 727's making alot of noise.

I didn't know that EVA AIR had B757's!
Well, I do have to agree that the B757 is one of the best looking aircraft in the world today. But remember, companies go for aircraft efficiency, not aircraft looks. Thats why there are no such things as aircraft beauty contests...
Although I do remember there being a contest with which airline had the best special paint scheme...But that doesnt count!

Pass over probably for the low number made and most of us would have never seen it land. As for the 727 that and the earlier 737's were neat looking
