JBU new terminal JFK
The Port Authority of NYNJ announced yetserday that JBU will construct a new 26 gate terminal at JFK. JBU will build the terminal on the old TWA terminal site that is presently empty. The existing TWA terminal (a historic landmark) will be incorporated into the new plan. From the looks of the plan, the original main terminal (butterfly shape) will remain and the new terminal complex will be built behind it connected by tubular walkways. Looks nice.
Also DAL annouced they are spending 300 million to update their terminals at JFK but gave no details.
