Discount Carrier JetBlue Adds Service From New York to Destinations in Florida

NEW YORK (AP) -- Discount carrier JetBlue Airways Corp. reported Thursday that it will launch service from New York's LaGuardia Airport to destinations in Florida, while increasing the number of daily departures to Florida destinations from Boston's Logan Airport and New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The carrier will add new service this fall to Fort Myers, Fla. from Boston, and is expanding its existing service from Logan International Airport by up to 20 daily departures to Florida cities including Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa. JetBlue's new route is currently being offered with an introductory sale fare of $69 each way, when booked at JetBlue's Web site.

The airline plans to offer seven daily roundtrips from LaGuardia to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood beginning September 17, and is also adding flights to additional Florida destinations from its base at JFK. JetBlue's new route is currently being offered with an introductory sale fare of $79 each way, when booked at JetBlue's Web site.

In addition to up to 17 daily JFK departures to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, the airline is expanding service to include as many as 15 daily departures to Orlando, up to 14 daily departures to West Palm Beach, up to 10 daily departures to Fort Myers, and up to eight daily departures to Tampa.

Wow more flights out of JFK and BOS and make LGA all FLL though we would have FLL and MCO or PBI and to make it 7 a day they'll need 3 or 4 planes for this and I think they will have more than 1 gate at FLL because they might have 2 planes on the ground.
