Default Air Holland Ceased Operations

Nothing much to add to what's said above. I always liked their livery on their 757's.

Does anyone know if Dutchbird is still flying? Now that's a nice looking 757.

Yes, Dutchbird is still flying and going strong. So isn't this Air Holland's second 'death'. Still wonder how such a small land can support so many airlines as it is.

Yep another Airline dead at the ships graveyard (Schiphol). It is a big airport! Sad to see. Glad I got that Phoenix model.

Schiphol when it was an open sea was where ships were sunk or put into a graveyard. My Mom told me that! She is Dutch. As for your plane being on last leg I wouldn't worry about that.

Did DutchBird ever have their own corporate identity?
I'm not sure but to my knowledge all they made was to slightly "enhance" the Condor (Berlin) cs when they took over the 757-230s from DE.
Looks like they still use those "hybird" colors today and since DE changed their cs to "Thomas Cook", noone really cares anymore.

I don't like it btw.

They've kinda adopted it. Their own A320s also sports the same 'hybrid' scheme. Kinda like TDA and Airbus' corporate colours at the time. Not sure if I like it myself, but after seeing it so often I've kinda got used to it.
