Default Airliners converted into restaurants/or/bars...

While checking out a.net's forums, I came across a post showing restaurants (I believe all be in S.Korea) converted from airliners.

They even show an L-1011, whose history I would be interested in learning...and a 747 claiming to be none other than N747PA

The link is as follows:

Since I neither speak nor read Japanese I'm afraid I cannot help you much. What I can guess is all restaurants pictured are in South Korea with the exception of the YS-11 (Japan) and the B737-247 (mainland China? Macau? Taiwan? My search on ther registration B-2613 revealed nothing). The mock UAL and AF1 are funny. Though their exteriors look rather sad, the interiors looks decent in most of them. Wonder how the food's like.....

BTW, link should have been www.nhirai.com/airrest.htm

Funny.... I did a quick search in Google by typing "fate of n747pa" and it gave me two results. One is for A.net, and the other is for KAL 007 which was shot down by the Soviets. Interesting read, though it sounds a bit Elvis-is-alive. Anyhoo, hope this help...

Only L-1011 "restaurant" I know of is N300AW (ex Rich International). Should be at Queen Alia, Amman, Jordan.
