Default Airliners.net NOT!

Hi guys,

Check out the following sight, which parodies one of our favourite sights.

http://www.cardatabase.net/modifiedairlinerphotos/

They do some stuff which is good, and some which is not, but some is worth a look

Very interesting. Some of them fake aircrafts are just totally ridiculous. They could at least put some logic to those aircrafts. Some of them are reasonable.

Default Give John ANOTHER heart attack...

This is from the web site of the British model store that sponsors them. I wonder if it helps or hurts sales.

Some one needs to tell them models can get damaged when not displayed on flat surfaces.

The DC-10s look like those pull-back airplane toys you pick up at the airport with flashing lights and sounds.

Default This actually looks great!

Now this would look excellent if Delta ever decided to do a retro aircraft tribute.

I totally agree, this is one smokin' hot livery and I have to admit that it looks like it was made for the little Boeing! One thing I would suggest would be to run the DELTA AIR LINES titles out a little so that it takes most of the fuselage, for a more balanced appearance.

I think someone did a model, perhaps a 1/144 plastic kit, of this very combination. I remember it looked stunning.

You never can get enough of classic Retro Delta!
