Trip Report - Continental

I got back from my trip tonight. It was great.

I left my house at about 6 two weeks ago, in New Orleans. I got to the airport and borded the 752 waiting for me and I was on my way to Houston. I often fly this flight and it was short. They were just able to get the last few drinks out when we got into the Houston area. Houston was a mess for me. I had to walk from the end of terminal C to E nice by the way). I got on a 739 and flew to Sacramento. I got some cereal, which I wasn't to happy about. Last year I flew a shorter flight with AA and they gave us some delicious turkey on sourdough sandwiches. The banana was good. I loved the Sacramento airport. It was really neat. Almost like New Orleans, only a little smaller, I think. Just fantastic. So I drove down to Frisco and rented one of those VoltsWagon Westfalia Campers. I hated it so much. It was an 89 stick shift. New Orleans is very flat. I havn't been to San Franscisco in a long time. San Francisco is NOT flat. The car rolled back 5 ft. before it started going up the hill at a red light. I couldn't go to death valley because this old piece of junk was air cooled and it is really hot out there. To summerize the rest I went to Marine World and Magic Mountain, two great parks, huge compared to Six Flags New Orleans. LA, knotts, Sierra Nevada, Las Vegas, Mammoth.

So I get back to the great airport in Sacramento. Now here is the part I didn't like about Sacramento: I believe SMF is a little small for what it has to handle. First of all my seating was all screwed up. I had to fix that (1 hour left). There was a line to get up stairs. I get to the top (50 mins. left). There is a que to get to through security. I had a long talk with someone about Western Michigan University (30 mins. left). I get to the gate and fix the seating problem. The whole plane had borded. I have never been late for a flight, they ruined my record. I get into a emptyseatless flight and we depart quickly. This time the food was better. I get a Philly style cheeseburger, nice and hot, while watching Antwone Fisher. I get to IAH and walk about a mile to C. I get on an evening flight and get home to the humidity.

Good Trip. Great Price (122). I was happy.
