Default Tom Braniff Honoured in Paris

Aviation Week and Space Technology Magazine hosted a dinner during the Paris Air Show on the 18th June to honour the Top 100 Stars of Aerospace.

Tom E. Braniff was one of the "empire builders" who was on the Top 100 list.

The Braniff family asked me to accept the award on their behalf.

I was proud to have attended the AWST dinner in Paris, and pay tribute to the co-founder of Braniff Airways.

(Paul R. Braniff, Tom's Brother, also founded Braniff)

Pictures from the dinner to be posted as soon as I get them from Aviation Week.

Thumbs up Great news for Braniff Enthusiast!

With the History of Braniff and its effect on Airline travel even today. Very much a trend setter. Will always be remembered.

Default Update

Talked to Emily in New York on Monday.

The pictures from the awards dinner came out in last Friday's issue of Aviation Week.

They are going to put together an entire package of magazines, pictures etc., and send them to me (as well as the other 99 VIPs who attended)

Hopefully, I will get them by next week.

Meanwhile, I have scanned the awards certificate that I rec'd for Tomas Elmer Braniff.

It will be on "The Braniff Pages" today.

Cheers,
