It would have to be ORD. I live in Chicago, work at ORD and have never had a problem there.

Phoenix is the most beautiful in my opinion, but LAX, LAS and FRA are of course also great.

detroit metro "NW WORLDGATEWAY" gets my vote since its the newest in the US, and it has the designs of an asian airport like osaka, hong kong as with others. It has an elevated tram that goes the length of the mile long concourse inside the terminal, the waterfountain of the routes that NW flies is pretty cool.. and a Spectacular 900-foot tunnel links concourses A to B/C, and features a synchronized light and sound show. Also there is pleanty of wide open spaces so you dont feel crowded when u are waiting for a flight.

DTW gets my vote too...

Flew through DTW twice last month- very, very efficient- lots of gates- easy to get from one end to the other via the elevated railway and moving walkways- open and roomy- doesn't seem crowded although it's busy- four parallel runways, typically two for arrivals and two for departures keep things moving- direct freeway access from two major interstate highways…..

Good job on the 180 turn around DTW!!!

Lots of choices there... but I'd have to go with St.Louis. Very simple to 'connect' (on AA)

DeltaFlot,
I'm flying through ATL this weekend, what is the time needed to connect from a T gate to an E gate? The Hartsfeild website says 5 min. is that true?

Out of those choices, I would have to say HKG and PIT for convenience.

Thumbs up For simplicity and convenience...

My vote goes to Vienna/Schwechat.
It's never crowded, connection times are as little as 25 minutes and the terminal and facilities are neat and clean. If you happen to be travelling to or through Europe, VIE is hard to beat.

As a crewmember I've always thought PIT was the easiest to get around in. (Wished my airline thought the same).

Never cared for STL even though I was based here (hometown) for many years with Ozark and TWA.

It will be Munich/ Germany with its new Lufthansa Terminal. Europe´s most modern and convenient Terminal.

Las Vegas.

You know that you are in Las Vegas when you walk off the plane and hear the slot machines before you even step into the terminal.

You forgot Singapore's Changi and Amsterdam's Schipol consistently rated very highly.

I personally prefer Changi for great business class lounges, great shopping, decent restaurants, free massages, free local phone calls, and inexpensive internet access. If you are staying in Singapore, the time from plane to curb is usually around 15 minutes.

Furthermore, for decent local food, the hawker stalls in the basement for variety, inexpensive food, and ambience is hard to beat. Only thing is that the Singapore Authorities would prefer tourists not know the location of this place but there are signs to it nevertheless on the east side of Terminal 1.

Las Vegas -

Have you ever walked around and looked at all the Large Scale models on display ... there are quite a few tucked away here and there ...
and I love the nice metal planes they have welded between escalators in Terminal D that act a deterrent to sliding down the middle ..... not to mention you can play the slots while waiting for your flight and hit it big ...

DTW is abosolutely beautiful ... no doubt far more functional than the previous terminal ... but ... the problem with DTW is that the tram stops are too far apart .. so if your gate is in the middle of a tram stop you are walking and walking and walking even with mutiple moving walkways ... but still much better than the old terminal .. I can remember connect throught Detroit and you would land at Terminal D and your new flight would leave 30 minutes later from terminal A .. it was brutal.
