Talking Best Airline-Inflight Entertainment

So, what airline do you think has the best inflight entertainment? (Excluding Ecstasky Air ) My vote goes to Delta. But I wish they would bring back the, 'From the cockpit,' radio station.

British Airways gets my vote, at least for coach, or World Traveler as they call it. I have crossed the Atlantic on both updated 777s and 747-400s and there was more than plenty offerings on the seatback entertainment system, and you don't have to put up with the old style "community movie." Ever try watching the "big" screen when the pax just in front of it keeps shoving a baby towards the ceiling to get it to stop crying?

I agree that Delta has the best in-flight entertainment system (at least up front) on their 767ER's, MD-11's and 777's.
But most other airlines offer similar systems on thier long haul equipment as well, and it was United that offered the "from the flightdeck" channel (14) on their 777's and (9) on the other types (if I am not mistaken).

Yup Dave, United offers "channel 9" on all aircraft. At least one type offers it on a numerically different channel. It is a well-loved feature - surprised other carriers don't offer it.
BTW, the only recent a/c not ot offer the audio feed was the 732, as it never had any entertainment installed.

I knew one of the airlines had the 'From the flighdeck' feature. But, I thought Delta once had it. (Maybe its just me wishing for it )

Default VS

Of the 50+ airlines that I have flown, I have to go with Virgin Atlantic.

Does anyone know if Delta has the TV screens in the back of every seat on any of their domestic aircraft?

Any airline with the seatback video systems are all pretty similar. Personally I prefer to take a good book and read

By far, Singapore Airlines' Krisworld video system. It has 50, yes 50 channels of video. No other airline has that.

Thumbs up Launch Carrier

Lanchile was the launch carrier for the A 340-300 best in-flight entertainment system.

American. On the JFK-LHR and LHR-JFK flight we took 2 weeks ago the entertainment was excellent.
