Exclamation

Only one MD-11 wears the Wavy Gravy colors, N813DE. It's a sharp look on the MD-11, I used to see it on occasion when Delta still had the DFW-ATL MD-11 run.

I think these colours look best on the MD-11. I think all they have to do is make the titles a bit bigger.

Question

... So since Delta is retiring their MD-11's, what are they going to replace them with? More 777's? Some 764's? Or, are they just simply phasing them out?

767-300ER will be a (BIG role) replacement of an MD-11. Delta is NOT happy with 767-400 and 777!!!!!!! There is possibilities that Delta will retire 767-400. 777's fate is uncertain. (I think they will keep it for certain routes but stop order any further more until ?)

From the what I was told from pilot that 767-300's configuration seats 190(-) passangers compare to 240-260 seats MD-11 (depend on ship#'s configurations) would make an excellent use such as ATL-NRT type routes. (Makes sense to me the way Delta is trying to do.) Also they are using 763 for ATL-HNL. Anyway....FYI there was a thread discussed about DL's 764 and 777's fate as some posters made a good statement of their speculation and points base on fact would happen... Try that search....

Hope this helps you?
