The flying booger unveiled at last! OK, OK... let's give Song a chance... HAWWWWW******KK!

Let's see if this noble experiment works with Delta. Considering the abortive experiments at other carriers, it might at first be another expensive clusterf*ck, but we could be wrong...

Where did you see it?

I'll be flying on Song in June and have been wondering what it was going to look like.

Not too bad. It has a European charter look about it. It'll be interesting to see how it competes against JetBlue and if it curbs the startup's growth plans. Interesting.

I didn't even know this airline existed! This wouldn't be the replacement for Delta Shuttle, would it?

Well, you learn something new everyday... too much time in Japan has made me forget about American aerospace. I do think the livery is nice, though.

I dont think it will replace the Shuttle and Express services.

Song operates only 757's, right now is flying out of New york, I can not recall when Atlanta flight ops start, I think early May.

It will NOT replace the Delta Shuttle service but will eventually replace Delta Express. Or at least that's what I've read. I read that the Delta Express 737-200's will eventually see main-line service while the 757's of Song will take over the Delta Express 737-200 routes.

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this.

Im sure if clip finds the thread, she will be able to give you more insight into the song taking over express / shuttle services.

Ill be up at the TOC monday morning and afternoon enjoying my new digicam, so. . . maybe if I spot one of the song birds being painted Ill ask someone in the know.

Oh, O.K. Thanks for the info guys. The thing is, I remember reading somewhere on the A.net boards that Delta Express or Shuttle would be replaced because Delta wasn't making much profit with its 732s. However, I didn't remember much of what I actually read.

Arrow What's In A Name?

With all those similar lines (Jazz, Tango etc) I think that Delta could have gone one better in naming the airline. Song'n Dance has a nice ring to it!
