Glancing at a few pics of the mighty 747 on airliners.net got me thinking, even with the huge A-380 coming out which will take the crown as world's largets aircraft,as I was watching some pics I was wondering is the 747 still the largest airplane( i know it is) but the likes of the 777-300ER and 340-600 are also big airplanes, and they seem to be challenging the 747 in terms of size, capacity range etc.,even before the 380 comes into service,as i said this is just a opion question, may sound stupid but meh and not no airbus vs boeing stuff.
looking forward to what u write, thanks for reading

Well, the A380 is impressive because it has 2 full decks & the publicity photos by Airbus show a "grand staircase" linking the two, like a modern-day version of the one that was on the Titanic.
It will be interesting to see how the different airlines configure them. My co-workers & I have joked around & said it will have things like a duty-free shop, a gym, a pool, a food court & a day-care center! |

IMO the 747 is still the biggest, to me the 380 just looks dumb!
