Ok, does anyone know exactly which aircraft type, reg. was the first to wear Uniteds Saul Bass
scheme low stripes, small titles? Plus which was
the first to wear the current scheme? I'll try to post a picture for a example, thanks

Actually the first aircraft to wear United's new colors was a B-757-222 N573UA

I believe the first to wear the other livery was a 747-122 in 1974

When United decided to lower the lines in the Saul Bass livery and enlarge the name the first aircraft was N1823U.
