Default Regional "Minor" airline list

After seeing the new Northeast re-startup, I am interested in getting a list going of US regional airlines.

Here are a few examples...

Midwest Express - Milwaukee Based
Great Plains - OKC Based
Spirit - Florida Based
Air Tran - Atlanta Based
jetBlue - New York JFK Based
Frontier - Denver Based

Please help me add on to this list!

Correct, but most "regionals" have long hauls. I guess I am trying to list off all airlines in the US that aren't considered "Major".

How about American Trans Air? They have L1011's, but I don't know if you think of them as a major.

i believe ATA is a "National" Airline.....REMEMBER THIS HAS TO DO WITH AMOUNT OF PASSENGERS FLY ON THAT AIRLINE A YEAR....

even airlines such as COMAIR are considered "National" Airlines

My intention was to list all airlines, regardless of size, that isn't considered a "Major" airline.

So, Airtran, Alaska, Jetblue, etc. meet the criteria.

How about all the minors that have disappeared?

Allegheny- Mohawk- Piedmont- Southern- North Central- Ozark- Hughes Airwest- PSA- Air Cal- Trans Texas- Air New England- Bonanza- Texas International

I can't remember any others, but it does make you realize how many airlines there used to be before deregulation & the advent of airline-alliliated commuters like American Eagle, United Express or Delta Connection.
