Question Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards question!

My wife and I have both received certificates for free trips. We would like to use our free trips to go to Boston (from SMF) this summer (We want to see some of New England, Maine, etc.).

I was wondering whether it will be very difficult, if not impossible, for us to get on the same flights (especially given the fact that it will probably take three or four flights to get there!), or if we are going to have to take separate flights to do this. I know we will have to book early, and will probably try and book as soon as possible (WN only takes reservations for up to six months in the future.) Has anyone else tried using free trips with a spouse/companion? Is this very difficult?

Kevin,
You will not have any problem!
Those tickets are very flexible.
We do not fly directly into BOS but you can go to Manchester or Providence.
The good news is that you can get there with only 1 stop and plane change.
You can go SMF-PHX-PVD or SMF-MCI-MHT.
We are going to Boston by way of Providence in April.
Talk to you soon!

Kevin,
Did you see that Aloha will begin SMF-BUR-OGG in April?
