Unhappy Sorry to say this, but stick a fork in 'em ...

Not to be a doomsayer, but at this rate, even with Chapter 11 reorganization, how can they continue at this current rate and expect to emerge as a "New United"? I'm hoping they can, but I would be more surprised that they did than if they didn't.

Here's the bad news ...

UAL Corp records $1.5B for last quarter

Where there a will theirs a way, it is now in the hands of the employees and management to do what ever it takes to make United a healthy carrier again.

Pointing fingers will not make things better "Working Together" will be the one thing to make the "Friendly Skies" flying high again.

United's employees are no stranger to tough times the 80's and early 90's both could have sunk United but they survived. The Key is to get ALL parties on the same playing field with the same goal return United to a Healthy airline.

Wink Good luck to UAL!!!

I totally agree with you there Sean1999! I'm not trying to be pessimistic at all, but merely stating what could very well happen.

As the ol' saying goes ... "It's easier said than done" most certainly applies in this case!
