WOW! Where was this picture shot at? Almost reminds me of ATL from a few years ago, except of course all those planes woul dbe in Delta and Airtran colors though

it happened to me once at LGA a year ago when complete
northeast coast was under heavy snow storm. I was on a ATA B727-200 on my way back to MDW and we were number 38 for takeoff. We were on the taxiway for little over 2 hours due to heavy traffic out of all major NY airports. I guess the flight control in NY area was restricting the airports for letting them to permit only certain number of aircrafts to take off or something... Well, that's what the captain told us... Since ATA does not serve anything, but drinks, they were serving only water while we're on the ground between the time of 5:30pm until 7:30pm, most of passengers were very hungry and tired... ![]() |
