Thumbs down

What is it with all these stupid names from new airlines in Canada?!

First it was Tango, then Jazz, Zip AC Jetz, Jetsgo HMYairways.... And now Zoom??

Most (if not all) of these airlines are pretty good, but their names suck!

I haven't got a clue. I totally agree, these are really stupid names! They should come up with names that represent Canada like Maple Airways or something like that.

Tango and Zip are..Zoom is Independant.

As for Ingenious marketing - it is. 50% of the flying public don't realize that Tango and Zip are part of Air Canada! When I used to work at YVR airport, I always had people asking me about Tango - when I told them it was Air Canada, they looked at me with disbelief!
