Default Odd...

Sorry to bring September 11th 2001 back up again, but I found this interesting. We all know after 9/11 alot of movies and TV programs changed things from scripts to entire CGI sequences (Time Machine), in which the World Trade center or similar buildings were destroyed, but what about a case of Hollywood predicting the events. I found a video clip on line of a scene from a spin off of the X-Files, called The Lone Gun Men that was only shown as a pilot in May of 2001, the climax in the show was the thwarting of a terrorist plot in which a hijacked 727-200 is put on a collision course with the World Trade Center. I thought this was interesting...

I have seen a similar thing in a video game I am playing. Deus Ex which came out before 9/11. In the first mission you are battling on Liberty island against terrorist that had taken it over (nevermind you find out later in the game that they are the good guys). Anyways, both the NY and NJ coasts are visible and the skyline on each side. And I found it odd then that there wa no WTC. I stopped playing Deus Ex back in January 2001 so by the time 9/11 came around I didn't remember the oddity in the game. So when I started playing it again just recently, it hit me even harder. Damn! I hate when things like that happen.

Wasn't how it was supposed to happen though. Flightsim 2002 was supposed to be release Oct 2001, but was delayed for reprograming to update the NY skyline
