Default New picture of Westjet 737-800 (from Delta)

Hey all,
I saw this picture in the A.net forum (it got rejected) but looks nice! Hopefully WJA will use it on their YYZ routes.....

Is it on lease or is it purchased?

It is leased from Delta Shuttle (thats why it has the blue engines and the metal bottom.) Unfortunatley WJ are only going to have this aircraft for 8 months till more 737-700's arrive.

Looks like an easy hybrid for either Dragon or any do-it-yourselfer to make.... tho it would be nice if Westjet adds `their' black anti-glare panel beneath the windscreen windows.

Thumbs up

Very nice plane! I believe WestJet has leased 2 737-800 from Delta. They are both expected to fly to YYZ. If I remember correctly, they start YYZ service May 23. Can't wait to see them!

Arrow The cowlings of Delta's late 90's scheme looks good with Westjet!

The red matches the Canadian flag in the back and the blue looks close.

Delta shuttle has leased off a bunch of 737s, mostly because of flight restrictions into DCA.

You know what? I like WJ livery on B737-800 better than -700.
This bird looks good even with mixed color with DL.
