Post USAir: What could have been.....

but thankfully they didn't pick this paint scheme. Even though the final USAir paint scheme wasn't much better. I do think our current US Airways paint scheme is one of the finest flying. I suppose since I fly for them I could be a little bit biased. Here's the link for the expiermental paint scheme. I still haven't figured out how to post the actual picture. No comment Ozz!

Arrow No it is the California influence of when they took that smile!

These were the same schemes tested on PSA's 146 planes.
Not a Southern thing a Southern California thing!

Man thats a interesting paint scheme....

still i like the current colors better....
when i worked on an internship for usairways express-piedmont on HHH (hilton head island, SC) we called the DASH8s in those colors the stealth 8s
yea its a stupid nickname but it was in 98 when they first started to paint them in those colors so it was a cool site...

I think these colors only look good on smaller planes, I think the colors they have nowlook better on larger planes.
