13 year old arrested with 13Kg. of heroin!!

Police in Manchester airport arrested a 13 year old girl (yes 13!!) girl was arrested with with over one million pounds worth of heroin on a flight from Islamabad, what the **** is the world coming too!!!

Now, wait and see her get counseling and then a slap on the wrist and told not to do it again, crazy

Luckily it wasn't in SE Asia or she would know the meaning of all those "Death to Drug Trafficers!" printed on their immigration forms. I wonder if the girl knew she was carrying heroin? Would of been more appropriate to wait and see who picked her up. Then you might find the real culprits.

I think the UK is far too soft, I'm not advocating instant death for all felons, but there is an attitude in some quarters here that nobody is bad, they only committ crime as they were beaten as children, had a single parent, are unemployed or any of 10 million other excuses, and that 50 hours community service and counseling is suitable punishment for murder, oh dear.... I'm exagerating of course, but I think if this girl is found guilty she deserves to be punished as do her family. I expect this will go very quiet however, as for political reasons this case is the last thing the Police or government want.

The same is true here in Canada, tax evaders typicaly get more time than murders, our prisoners have more rights and better access to the legal system than Joe Sixpack. Young offenders can get a maximum five years at club fed for violent murder, some kids do the math and figure it's worth it. And if you are a criminal and a foreigner just claim refugee status and you can stay for as long as you want, on the streets while we process your claim, and if you are rejected just reapply and the process begins anew.
It must be a Commonwealth thing.

ok the part that i think HAS TO BE A TYPO is the "OVER ONE MILLION POUNDS" and ON A FLIGHT....

if this is correct, WHERE IN THE HELL DID SHE HIDE THIS? DID ALL OF HER BAGS SEEM TO MAKE THIS FLIGHT, and the rest of the passengers bags just seem to NOT MAKE IT...
