Default Weird fact: 9 days left ...

I was just surfing a bit and found out (on www.aviation-safety.net) that since 52 days there has been no fatal airliner accident. This is already the third longest period in post WW2-aviation history.

Longest period was from Sept 29, 1982 till Nov 29, 1982 (61 days). Runner up is Dec 4, 1990 till Jan 30, 1991 (57 days).

I can think of a few airlines to ground that would increase that length to hundreds of days...
