Wll, I'll give this a Hmmm...

I like their guts putting a baby in the name and logo, but it could have used more color. At LEAST it's less confused than BMI's regular scheme!

On the other hand, I'd never want to fly and airline that bills itself as "baby"!

Exclamation

You know, I really don't think airlines these days grasp the whole concept of "corporate identity" all that well and most definitely the design firms they toss big coin to sure don't either. I'm not at all quite sure what's being smoked these days out on the other side of the "pond", what with the new Swiss livery, AirLib, TUI, and so on. As I see it, the airline's livery is it's most visible and present form of corporate identity and as such it stands to say as much if not more than any press release, sound bite, or slick ad campaign can. What does it say about an airline that's got this crapass kiddy scrawl on it? Dar is much more forgiving of this livery than I sure am! To me this is no better than all the frickin' cartoon characters that are painted all over one-off Asian airliners that make them look like gaudy Saturday morning cartoon ads.

I do admit having the Simpsons' WestPac 737 in my collection, though, so go figure. But that's the ONLY cartoon plane in my collection.
