I know that Continental has grounded all DC-10s.
So what does Continental Micronesia uses for medium to long range flights? And do they still operates B737-800 between the islands in Pacific? Thanks! ![]() |

CMI uses 767-400 on long haul and high volume routes and uses the 737-800 on all other routes.
I miss the DC-10. The 767-400 is nice and all but the D10 had a lot more character. |

No, unfortunately the 767-400s will not have "Micronesia" on the fuselage like the DC-10-10s did. However, by this summer they will have their own configuration (20J/236Y) which will separate them from CAL's 764s (35J/200Y).

Ben,
The 764s in CMI will fly the following routes: GUM-NRT, GUM-HNL, HNL-IAH, HNL-LAX. They will be based at HNL since the planes fly to the mainland and GUM from there. |
