Ooops!

Does that mean they will have a shortage until a shiny new A380 heads their way?

The plane made a wrong turn on the taxiway to a GA area with a shortage of space. Some guy said on another forum that the building finally got the new wing they were asking for.

And don't tell me, he thanked everyone and said that he'll be there all week!!

Seriously though, I wouldn't have liked to have been in that part of the building when it happened! I imagine nobody was anyway, which was fortunate!

Apparently three ground handlers were in the building crew room at the time and received minor injuries. One is quoted as saying "We asked the BA pilot for a Christmas tip, this wasn't what we quite expected !"

viewing the incident area, i guess the quotes from this article represents this incident quite clear..

British Airways plane collides with building at Johannesburg airport - Telegraph

---

Harriet Tolputt, the head of media for Oxfam, was on the flight when the collision occured. She wrote on Twitter: “BA plane crashes into building at J Burg airport. No one injured only the pilot’s pride. Not impressed that first class passengers get off before premium economy during an emergency.”
