We've all heard about the Save-a-Connie organization, I stumbled across another group a few weeks ago online. Team Convair 880 is currently trying to restore one of these magnificent aircraft to flying condition. They own 4 separate aircraft in various condition. Some pics posted on their site depict the 4 880s, one still has it's original interior from TWA, one is missing 10 ft of it's left wing due to a film stunt, one is missing it's tail section, and the other hs no engines. Two are located in Mojave, and the other 2 in Atlantic City NJ. This looks like a great organization to join, as they need alot of extra help and materials to make this possible.
