Re: Phoenix-Goodyear Airport
I can confirm some of this, or at least clarify. Phoenix-Goodyear is a general aviation airport that is not currently served by any commercial airlines. Many commercial aircraft are stored there, mostly awaiting disposal or parts salvage. Lufthansa does have a training facility there, but I do not believe they are using any mainline aircraft in their training at Goodyear. Additionally, Oxford Aviation Academy is also located there, specializing in training pilots for British and European airlines, but, again, I do not believe they're using any of those airlines aircraft in the training. There is a maintenance facility there, but I could not tell you whether any airlines are having their aircraft worked on at that facility.
