Might also want to check out the Commercial Jet Aircraft Census at www.bird.ch/bharms/ for more info -- Bill's pretty good about keeping things up to date in his fleet census.

Hey Dave.

We haven't heard from you in a while.

How come you do not go out of your way to support the creation of a TWA 747SP?

Why are 9 737-700's stored in Mojave? I would think they would have stored the 300's first.

The 700s in MHV were deliveries that were delayed because of the situation in september. Southwest has put 3 of the 9 at Mojave in service the past two months. In fact N411WN went into service Jan 2nd. Flew from MHV to PHX to pick up folks for its first revenue flight. N409 and 410 also went into service. N412WN-N419WN are still in MHV awaiting entry.

Nothing hurts the eyes more then seeing a brand new Jet parked out in the Mojave Desert. I am glad to hear that they are putting them into service. I guess after what happened at Sacramento last week, Southwest needs another aircraft.

My private network of low-Earth orbit imaging satellites provided me that picture.

I think the above photo is of the Kandahar Airstrip. They sent over those jets to make it look more airporty like in light of recent events. Them Marines sure know how to decorate!
