I wonder what these planes look like after one of these trips? Also, I wonder who gets to sit in First Class and who gets coach?

Question

This must be a sight to see! 6 abreast, 17 inch wide seats filled with pro football players? Maybe it makes 'em mean for game time!

In many cases, dedicated charter flights have special seat layouts, such as all-FC or all-BC with wider and more comfortable seats than the puny seats in coach in regular service.

OK Chuck - but the above flights all seem to be on UAL, Northwest, Delta, and United.

True - but when these teams charter aircraft, they sometimes specify layouts for a little better comfort. Generally, the plane chartered is dedicated to that operation only, though it might have mainline colors and markings. When the season ends or the aircraft is not needed by the team, seats can easily be added to restore the plane to full revenue service.

First class- Refrigator-size linemen
Second class- Mini-Refrigator players
Third class- Managements! (Of course they enjoy puff-puff cigars and spit-n-can tobacco.)

That way the plane would stay even not so high on front and low on the rear end!
