In an analysis of aviation industry stock performance,'Aviation Daily' has reported that Southwest's market capitalization at the end of 2001-$14.1 billon- was more thanall major and national u.s. air carriers combined. According to the story ,nine Major airlines and five national carriers has a combined value of $13.4 billion.
