Default Who flies the Boeing 764?

Aside from Delta and Continental? It seems that orders for this model have been few and far between. Is Boeing disappointed in the number of orders? Might the program get axed? I hope not. The 767 in any variant is the most comfortable plane in the sky IMO.

Anyone have any thoughts on 764 flights you have been on? I have heard that the Deltas are extremely cramped, because they are trying to cram too many seats in there.

As far as I know, pilots fly the 764... same as every other airplane that I know of.

As for the airlines that operate them, the only two I know of are Delta and Continental. Are there even any other airlines remotely interested?

Kenya Airways has them on order, but has not yet taken any deliveries.

I thought the 763 one of the nicest looking wide bodies ever, but the 764 looks too long, the proportions are wrong, the same as the 773 and A340-600. I think the 767 is probably the nicest wide body to fly along with the A310, both these designs have the ambience and feeling of space of a widebody but their small (smallish ) size makes ground handling a much less stressful experience. One reason the 767 has a much tougher fight for sales is the sccess now of the A330 series which is starting to bite into the 767's market seriously. I love both designs and hope they'll both be with us for many years,

I think the 764 will see more sales in the comming year. It is a great looking plane, and being a member of the 757-767 family, there is a very large market for carriers needing to upgrade their equipment.

As to Delta craming too many seats in coach, so what else is new. The only down side to a great company.

I have flown on Delta's 764s a few times and the seats aren't any different than the rest of the fleet, but the seat belts are shorter, and i have to use the extension. Overall it's a kicka$$ airliner.
