I found this in a German online-magazin, so I just tell you the story:
A couple wanted to fly with Arkia from Germany to Israel. When they went to the airport, the couldn´t find the gate, because they only looked for the name of the carrier instead of the flightnumber (IZ 432). As a result, they missed their flight. This is funny enough, but they went on and sued their travel agency for "an extra ticket, additional food and averted joy of holidays" the sum of ca. 700 $. Thankfully the court decided against them saying that displaying the flightnumber and the airline code is sufficient enough since they are also printed on the ticket and the booking receipt. |
