American Confirms Flight Diverted to Boston

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- American Airlines is confirming that Flight 63, en route to Miami from Paris, diverted into Boston earlier today because of a security concern onboard the flight.

Flight 63 landed safely in Boston and all passengers were deplaned without incident. A single passenger has been taken into custody by law enforcement officials.

American is unable to provide additional information on this event. Media calls should be directed to federal law enforcement officials in Boston.
