Baby Beluga! That computer rendering was borderline. This is worse than all of the propsed liveries by far.

Way to go MH, save the worst possible livery for your new flagship!

Why am I not surprised this airline went with the all 'boring' euro-white for their A380!

It's not complete, the blue swoosh at the rear of the fuselage has not yet been added.

It'll take a lot more than a blue swoosh to make this look any good. I quite like the livery they rolled out on a B738 and A330 a few months ago-the one with the red and blue bold lines diagonally up the fuselage. That would have looked quite good on an A380...but THIS? It looks so awfully dull.

An aircraft is the best (and most expensive!) billboard possible for an airline, it just seems so stupid that so many airlines waste the golden opportunity to use their fleet to build their brand awareness and identity. Quite frankly I've seen aircraft hangars that are painted more interestingly than this.

I'm surprised Airbus hasn't run out of white paint with LH, AF, SQ, QF, EK and now this in their order books..

I am assuming that Gemini Jets now regretting that they threw out so many colored paint for nothing.

Cheapest paintjob ever ! Well, I guess it's relevant to the airline industry today : pax following signs, corridors and jetways right to their seats and never seeing an aircraft from outside ! So why bothering with a complex and expensive livery that almost no one will see... Sigh.

You have to give credit to Emirates, Qantas, Thai and especially Korean for adding some color to their A380s. Cheers! T7

Don't you know that Malaysia Airlines has run out of money, can't afford to paint the rest of the A380s! MA has been running in loses since around Yr 2000 (except for few years).

Let me think, they lost a total of $US841 million in 2011 (Ref:

Why did they even bother painting it at all? Shoulda just stuck some decals on the engines and call it quits!

Malaysia Airlines had taken delivery of its first A380 on 29 May. According to Airbus's news release" The aircraft is painted with the base design of Malaysia Airlines’ bright new livery, with additional features developed specifically for this A380 livery to be applied post-delivery". Let's hope we can see something amazing.

Maybe they will change the livery of the blue stripes on the rear fuselage.. But very strange and stupid in my eyes that they are taking delivery of this airplane without the finishing touch.. It was for almost a month back in Toulouse..
